About Nasonn Say
A Life of Resilience, Adventures, and Sustainability
Born in 1977 in Siem Reap, Cambodia, my journey has been one of resilience, adaptability, and purpose. In 1986, my family fled to Belgium, where I grew up, studied, and built a strong foundation in multi-language.
Despite the distance, Cambodia remained close to my heart. When I first returned in 2000, I felt a deep desire to contribute to improving the lives of Khmer people.
In 2020, after coming back to reunite with my family, the unexpected circumstances of COVID-19 turned into an opportunity to bring my vision to life. This led to the creation of Clean Kulen Center Recycles, an initiative that blends education and sustainability.
Together with dedicated volunteers, and skilled seamstresses, the center provides English language instruction and digital skills training in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
About Clean Kulen Center Recycles
Trash to Treasure: Empowering Minds, Cleaning Communities
A unique aspect of the project is its environmentally conscious approach: students receive access to learning materials—books, laptops, internet—by collecting and recycling plastic package waste from their surroundings.
These materials aren’t just discarded; they find new life through the center’s talented seamstresses, who transform them into useful, recycled products.
By combining education with sustainability, Clean Kulen Center Recycles fosters both personal growth and environmental responsibility, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
Our mission
To empower students through access to education by transforming environmental waste into learning opportunities, while fostering sustainable practices and community involvement.
Our vision
A community where education and environmental stewardship go hand in hand, creating a cleaner, more conscious, and empowered future for all.
Join our mission. Volunteer, Donate, Advocate. Get Started Today.
